While it's been around for many years, the new and improved Hip Hat was finally launched, and with fireworks. On the fourth of July, 2008 the new HipHat.com website was launched. The purpose is to create a human edited directory that has useful information for those that visit. Instead of placing a bunch of links on a website and calling it a directory, Hip Hat has tips and useful information for the users. Every website that submits a link must also provide a useful tip.
